AN ACT to amend the Exotic Stock Diseases

(Eradication Fund) Act 1969.

[Assented to 22 November 1983.]

RE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent

Majesty, by and with the advice and consent

of the Legislative Council and the Legislative

Assembly of Western Australia, in this present

Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the

same, as follows:—

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Exotic Stock	Short title
and citation.

Diseases (Eradication Fund) Amendment Act 1983.

(2) In this Act the Exotic Stock Diseases of 1969.)

(Eradication Fund) Act 1969 is referred to as the

principal Act.

(3) The principal Act as amended by this Act may

be cited as the Exotic Stock Diseases (Eradication

Fund) Act 1969-1983.

Section 9

Section 9 of the principal Act is amended in paragraph (b) by deleting "and as having been, at the time of its death, in premises or on land that was in quarantine, pursuant to an order made under the Stock Diseases (Regulations) Act, 1968, by reason of the existence, or suspected existence, there of an exotic disease".

paragraph (a) of subsection (1) by deleting "two

months" and substituting the following-

" 90 days ".
