s1 2 s5 Exotic Diseases in Animals (Equine Influenza) No. 233, 2007 Amendment Notice (No. 1) 2007 1 Short title This notice may be cited as the Exotic Diseases in Animals (Equine Influenza) Amendment Notice (No. 1) 2007 . 2 Commencement Section 7 commences immediately after this section commences. 3 Notice amended This notice amends the Exotic Diseases in Animals (Equine Influenza) Notice 2007. 4 Amendment of s 3 (Definitions) (1) Section 3, definition quarantine area — omit. (2) Section 3— insert— ‘ control area means the control area under section 8B. quarantine area means the property described as lot 132 on SP108821, known as Morgan Park. Editor’s note — The property’s property identification code (PIC) under the StockIdentification Regulation 2005 is QKWW0486. ’. (3) Section 3, definition restricted area , ‘a restricted area’— omit, insert— ‘the restricted area’. 5 Amendment of pt 2 hdg (Notification of restricted areas) Part 2, heading, ‘areas’— omit, insert— ‘ area ’.

s6 3 s9 Exotic Diseases in Animals (Equine Influenza) No. 233, 2007 Amendment Notice (No. 1) 2007 6 Amendment of s 4 (Purpose of pt 2) Section 4, ‘restricted areas’— omit, insert— ‘a restricted area’. 7 Replacement of s 5 (Notification of restricted areas—Act s, 10) Section 5— omit, insert — ‘5 Notification of restricted area—Act, s 10 ‘(1) For section 10(1) of the Act, the area made up of the local government areas of the local governments stated in the schedule is a restricted area for equine influenza. ‘(2) However, the restricted area does not include the quarantine area.’. 8 Amendment of s 6 (Purpose of pt 3) Section 6, ‘a restricted area’— omit, insert — ‘the restricted area’. 9 Amendment of s 7 (Restricted movements—Act, s 10A) (1) Section 7(1), ‘any restricted area’— omit, insert — ‘the restricted area’. (2) Section 7(2), ‘a restricted area’— omit, insert — ‘the restricted area’.
