EXHIBITED ANIMALS PROTECTION ACT 1986 - REGULATION

(Relating to fees payable for a permit to exhibit

an animal of a prescribed species)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Exhibited Animals Protection Act 1986, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

The Exhibited Animals Protection Regulation 1989 is amended:

(a)

by omitting Regulation 13 (1) (b) and by inserting instead the following paragraph:

(b)

must be accompanied by any supporting documents referred to in the approved form and (except in the case of an application for the renewal of a permit that is in force at the time of the application) by the application fee; and

(b) by omitting Regulation 14 (4) (c).

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Regulation is to amend the Exhibited Animals Protection

Regulation 1986 so as to remove the present requirement that applicants for the renewal of a permit allowing the holder to exhibit animals of certain species pay a
fee for that renewal.
