CIVIL AVIATION REGULATIONS

EXEMPTION

I, RONALD STANLEY COOPER, General Manager, Safety Regulation and Standards Division, Civil Aviation Authority, a delegate of the Authority, pursuant to regulation 308 of the Civil Aviation Regulations, exempt the persons specified in Schedule 1 from compliance with subregulation 251(1) of those Regulations while they are in aircraft engaged in private or commercial operations subject to the conditions specified in Schedule 2.

SCHEDULE 1

Persons Exempted

Children under the age of 3 years.

Children who are 3 years, or more than 3 years, of age and who weigh 15 kilograms or less.

SCHEDULE 2

Conditions

The persons exempted must be carried in the arms, or on the lap, of an adult person.
