Excise Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation under the Excise Act 1901.

After Division 1 of Part VI of the Excise Regulations the following Division is inserted:

Division 1a—Containers Containing Brandy

Volume prescribed for the purposes of paragraph 58 (5) (a) of the Act: containers containing brandy

“93. For the purposes of paragraph 58 (5) (a) of the Act, a volume of 25 litres is prescribed in respect of containers that contain brandy, described in the Schedule to the Excise Tariff Act1921, produced in Australia.”.
