Excise Regulations 2(Amendment)

I, THE ADMINISTRATOR of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Excise Act 1901.

1.   Amendment

1.1   The Excise Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

[NOTE: These Regulations commence on gazettal: see Acts Interpretation Act 1901, s. 48.]

2.   Regulation 186 (Interpretation)

2.1   Paragraph 186 (2) (c):

Omit “intergovernmental agreement” (wherever occurring), substitute “bilateral arrangement”.

2.2   Paragraph 186 (3) (a):

Omit the paragraph, substitute:

  • “(a)

    ‘bilateral arrangement’ has the same meaning as in the International Air Services Commission Act 1992;”.
