Evidence (Prescribed Officers) Order 1997

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following order-in-council under section 59(6) of the Evidence Act 1910 .23 December 1997

1Short titleThis order may be cited as the Evidence (Prescribed Officers) Order 1997 . 2CommencementThis order-in-council takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette. 3Prescribed officersFor the purposes of paragraph (c) of the definition of "prescribed officer" in section 59(5) of the Evidence Act 1910 , the following offices are prescribed offices: (a) General Manager, Land Information Services, Department of Environment and Land Management; (b) Recorder of Titles, Department of Environment and Land Management; (c) Deputy Recorder of Titles, Department of Environment and Land Management; (d) Assistant Recorder of Titles, Department of Environment and Land Management; (e) Manager, Land Data Registration, Department of Environment and Land Management; (f) Manager, Survey and Geographic Information Services, Hydro-Electric Corporation; (g) Senior Surveyor (Property), Survey and Geographic Information Services, Hydro-Electric Corporation; (h) Managing Director, Forestry Tasmania; (i) General Manager, Forest Management, Forestry Tasmania; (j) Manager Resources, Forestry Tasmania. 4Evidence (Prescribed Officers) Order 1985 revokedThe Evidence (Prescribed Officers) Order 1985 is revoked.
