I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Evidence (Children and Special Witnesses) Act 2001 .21 June 2021

1Short titleThese regulations may be cited as the Evidence (Children and Special Witnesses) Regulations 2021. 2CommencementThese regulations take effect on the day on which their making is notified in the Gazette. 3InterpretationIn these regulations – Act means the Evidence (Children and Special Witnesses) Act 2001. 4Law reform bodyFor the purposes of section 7D of the Act, the Tasmania Law Reform Institute is prescribed as a law reform body.
