2 Evidence Amendment (No. 1) No. 310, 1993 ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Evidence Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 1993 . ˙ Amended regulation 2. The Evidence Regulation 1993 is amended as set out in this regulation. ˙ Insertion of new s.4 3. After section 3— insert— ˙ ‘Principal officer declared—Regional Health Authorities ‘4.(1) In this section— “regional director” has the meaning given by the HealthServicesAct1991 ; “Regional Health Authority” means a Regional Health Authority established under the Health Services Act 1991 . ‘(2) The regional director for a Regional Health Authority is declared to be the principal officer for the Authority for the purposes of paragraph (b) of the definition “principal officer” in section 134A(7) of the Act. ’.
