(Amendment) Regulations 2001

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1. Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to prescribe PAO2 to PAO5 (inclusive) as classifications in the public service for the purposes of witnessing affidavits and statutory declarations.

2. Authorising provisions

These Regulations are made under section 152(2) of the Evidence Act 1958.

3. Prescribed classifications in the public service

In regulation 5 of the Evidence (Affidavits and
Statutory Declarations) Regulations 19981, after
paragraph (h) insert—

"(i) Police Administration Officer PAO2 to

PAO5 (inclusive).".
