EVIDENCE ACT 1995 No. 25—PROCLAMATION

By deputation from His Excellency the Governor.

I, Rear Admiral PETER ROSS SINCLAIR, A.C., Governor of the State
of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in

pursuance of section 2 (2) of the Evidence Act 1995 do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 September 1995 as the day on which the uncommenced provisions of that Act commence.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the provisions of the Evidence Act

1995 other than Part 1.1 (Formal matters) and the Dictionary at the end of the Act. Part

1 . l and the Dictionary commenced on the date of assent to the Act (19 June 1995).
