THE EUNGELLA [A'SSENTED TO 29TH NOVEMBER, 1934.] S A 'fA M T E E NFDOMREENSTT OF W HEREAS by a Proclamation dated the Twenty- ~ ~ ; ~ ~ 1~ ~ ~ ~ seventh day of February, One thousand nine Preamble. hundred and thirty, made under *" The State Forests and National Parks Act of 1906," the land comprised within the boundaries set forth in the said Proclamation, situated in the County of Hillalong, Parishes of Eungella and Crediton, being an area of about twenty-seven thousand eight hundred acres, was permanently reserved and declared to be a State Forest; and whereas it is ~ xpedient that the part of such State Forest, being a total area of sixteen thousand acres or thereabouts, comprised within the boundaries set forth in the Schedule to this Act, should be excluded from the said Schedule. State Forest and be made available for selection under the Land Acts- Be it therefore enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :-- 1. This Act may be cited as "The E'llngella State Short title. Forest Amendment of Boundaries Act of 1934." * 6 Edw. VII. No. 20 and amending Acts, supra, pages 790 et seq.

The land comprised within the boundaries set ~ the II forth in the Schedule to this Act, which is now part of S~ ~ eF~ rest a State Forest, shall, from and after the passing of this :va:fable Act, cease to be part of such State Forest, and sha:ll be for seleotion. and become Crown land, and as such shall be available Sohedule. to be opened for selection or otherwise dealt with under the Land Acts in all respects as if such land had never been part of such State Forest, and the boundaries of such State Forest shall be amended accordingly. THE SCHEDULE. County of Hil"lalong, Parishes of Eungell(J, and Crediton. Area: About 16,000 acres. Commencing on the western slopes of the Clarke Range at the north corner of Portion 56, Parish of Eungella, and bounded thence by the western boundaries of Portions 56 and 80 south-westerly to the Broken River; by the left bank of that river upwards to the north-west corner of designed Portion 7, Parish of Crediton; by the western boundaries of designed Portions 7, 23, 24, 25 and 26 southerly to the south-west corner of the lastmentioned portion; by roads westerly about thirty-seven chains, south-easterly about one mile tell chains, easterly about one mile forty chains, and south-easterly about one mile sevent,y chains, by a line east about one mile to ~ he Clarke Range; and by that range northerly ~ nd westerly to the point of commencement.
