Essential Services Proclamation (No 3) 2022 (NSW)

This Proclamation is the Essential Services Proclamation (No 3) 2022.
This Proclamation commences on 16 July 2022 and is required to be published on the NSW legislation website.
In this Proclamation—
The Act and the Interpretation Act 1987 contain definitions and other provisions that affect the interpretation and application of this Proclamation.
It appears to the Governor that the supply or distribution of coal is likely—
(a) to cease, or
(b) to be interrupted or reduced, or
(c) to be provided in a manner that does not, or is not likely to, meet the reasonable requirements of the community, or
(d) otherwise to be rendered insufficient for the reasonable requirements of the community.
The supply or distribution of coal is declared to be an essential service in relation to which regulations may be made under the Act, section 9.
The Minister for Energy has responsibility for recommending the making, administration and enforcement of the regulations.
This Proclamation continues in force for 30 days from the day on which it commences, unless sooner revoked.
The Essential Services Proclamation (No 2) 2022 is revoked.
