TRANSPORTATION OF FREIGHT BY ROAD TO BE AN

ESSENTIAL SERVICE

I, Rear Admiral Sir DAVID JAMES MARTIN, Governor of the State

of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, on the certification of the Premier that the following service is essential in the public interest, and in pursuance of section 4 of the Essential Services Act 1988, do, by this my Order, declare the transportation of freight by road into, out of and within New South Wales (including the loading and unloading of vehicles in connection with any such transportation) to be an essential service for the purposes of the Essential Services Act 1988.
