EQUAL OPPORTUNITY (INFECTIOUS DISEASES) REGULATIONS 1994

Made by His Excellency the Governor in Executive Council under section 66U of the Act.

Citation

1.     These regulations may be cited as the Equal Opportunity (infectious

Diseases) Regulations 1994.

Duration of these regulations

2.     These regulations come into operation on the day on which they are

published in the Government Gazette, and cease to operate on 31 January

1995.

Part WA exceptions

By His Excellency's Command, D. G. BLIGHT, Clerk of the Council

regulation shall not have effect in relation to a person —

(1) The provisions of Part WA of the Act set out in the table to this

(a)	who has an impairment by reason of suffering from an infectious disease; and
(b)	who is lawfully detained in a prison, and for so long as the person

remains in lawful custody.

(2) In these regulations "prison" has the same meaning as in the

Prisons Act 1981.
