Epidemiological Studies (Confidentiality) Regulations Amendment

The Australian Capital Territory Executive makes the following regulations under the Epidemiological Studies (Confidentiality) Act 1992.

1. Commencement

   These regulations commence on the day they are notified in the Gazette.

2. Regulations amended

   These regulations amend the Epidemiological Studies (Confidentiality) Regulations 1992.

3. Insertion

   After regulation 6 the following regulation is inserted:

4. Prescribed study—supervised injecting place trial

   For paragraph (b) of the definition of prescribed study in subsection 3 (1) of the Act, the scientific trial for the Supervised Injecting Place Trial Act 1999 and a study that is part of or ancillary to the trial are declared to be studies to which the Act applies.”.
