Environmental Protection (Water) Amendment Policy (No. 1) 2012 [s 1] 1 Short title This policy may be cited as the Environmental Protection (Water) Amendment Policy (No. 1) 2012 . 2 Policy amended This policy amends the Environmental Protection (Water) Policy 2009. 3 Amendment of s 16 (Development and implementation of environmental plans) (1) Section 16(2)(a), ‘1 July 2012’— omit, insert— ‘1 July 2013’. (2) Section 16(2)(b)— omit, insert— ‘(b) for a large local government in the SEQ region, other than a local government mentioned in paragraph (a)—before 1 July 2013; or (ba) for a large local government outside the SEQ region, other than a local government mentioned in paragraph (a)—before 1 July 2014; or’. (3) Section 16(2)(ba) and (c)— renumber as section 16(2)(c) and (d).
