Environmental Protection (Noise) Amendment

Regulations 2000

Made by the Governor in Executive Council on the recommendation of the Authority.

1.            Citation

These regulations may be cited as the Environmental Protection
(Noise) Amendment Regulations 2000.

2.            The regulations amended

The amendments in these regulations are to the Environmental
Protection (Noise) Regulations 1997*•

3. Regulation 3 amended
Regulation 3 is amended as follows:

46 section 49(4) or (5) ".

(a)	after paragraph (b) by deleting "or";
(b)	at the end of paragraph (c) by deleting the full stop and inserting a semicolon instead;
(c)	after paragraph (c) by inserting -

or

(d) noise emissions from an emergency vehicle as defined in regulation 103(1) of the Road Traffic Code 1975.

4.            Regulation 4 amended

Regulation 4(3) is amended by deleting "section 49(2)" and inserting instead -

5.             Regulation 6 amended

Regulation 6(1)(a) is amended by deleting "and 82" and inserting instead —

, 82 and 99 ".

6. Regulation 15 amended
Regulation 15(4)(a) is amended as follows:

(a)	after subparagraph (i) by deleting "or";
(b)	after subparagraph (ii) by inserting —

or

(iii) premises that are not noise-sensitive

premises;

Recommended by the Environmental Protection Authority.
