s1 2 s5 Environmental Protection (Interim) Amendment No. 38, 1996 (No. 2) ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Environmental Protection (Interim) Amendment Regulation (No. 2) 1996 . ˙ Regulation amended 2. This regulation amends the EnvironmentalProtection(Interim)Regulation 1995 . ˙ Amendment of s 2 (Commencement) 3. Section 2(3), ‘30 April 1996’— omit, insert— ‘1 July 1996’. ˙ Insertion of new s 64A 4. Part 5, division 1— insert— ˙ ‘ Suspension of operation of section 4 and schedule 1 ‘ 64A. Section 4 and schedule 1 do not apply for the period 1 March 1996 to 30 June 1996 for a matter relating to— (a) a licence; or (b) an approval; or (c) the doing of anything without a licence or approval.’. ˙ Amendment of schedule 6 (Fees—General) 5. Schedule 6, items 1 and 2, ‘1 March 1996’— omit, insert— ‘1 July 1996’.
