Environmental Protection (Controlled Waste)

Amendment Regulations 2001

Made by the Governor in Executive Council under section 123 of the
Environmental Protection Act 1986, on the recommendation of the
Environmental Protection Authority.

1.            Citation

These regulations may be cited as the Environmental Protection
(Controlled Waste) Amendment Regulations 2001.

2.            Regulations amended

The amendments in these regulations are to the Environmental
Protection (Controlled Waste) Regulations 2001*.

3.             Regulation 3 amended

Regulation 3 is amended by deleting the full stop after the
definition of "operator" and inserting-

"sewage" means waste containing faecal matter or

urine.

4.             Schedule 1 amended

Schedule 1 is amended as follows:

(a) after the item relating to "Metal carbonyls" by inserting

the following item —

Mineral oil emulsions 200 L

(b) after the item relating to "Selenium; selenium compounds" by inserting the following item —
