Environmental Protection and Other Legislation Amendment (Postponement) Regulation 2024 (Qld)

1   Short title

This regulation may be cited as the Environmental Protection and Other Legislation Amendment (Postponement) Regulation 2024.

2   Postponed commencement of uncommenced provisions

(1)The period before automatic commencement, under the Acts Interpretation Act 1954, section 15DA(2), of the postponed law is extended to the end of 5 April 2025.

(2)In this section—

postponed law means the following provisions of the Environmental Protection and Other Legislation Amendment Act 2023—

(a)sections 102 and 121;

(b)

section 125(2), to the extent it inserts definition body-worn camera.

Note—

The postponed law now automatically commences on 6 April 2025.

3   Expiry

This regulation expires on 7 April 2025.
