Environmental Protection and Other Legislation Amendment (Postponement) Regulation 2009 [s 1] 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Environmental Protection and Other Legislation Amendment (Postponement) Regulation 2009 . 2 Postponed commencement of uncommenced provisions (1) The period before automatic commencement, under the ActsInterpretationAct1954 , section 15DA(2), of the postponed law is extended to the end of 31 December 2009. (2) In this section— postponed law means the following provisions of the Environmental Protection and Other Legislation AmendmentAct (No. 2) 2008 — (a) section 80, to the extent it inserts section 1.3.5(1), definition material change of use , paragraph (d); (b) section 82, to the extent it inserts section 6.9.2(1). Editor’s note — The postponed law now automatically commences on 1 January 2010. 3 Expiry This regulation expires on 2 January 2010.
