This regulation may be cited as the Environmental Protection Amendment Regulation (No. 2) 2000 . ˙ Regulation amended 2. This regulation amends the EnvironmentalProtectionRegulation1998 . ˙ Replacement of s 38F (Meaning of “substance”) 3. Section 38F— omit, insert— ˙ ‘ Meaning of “substance” ‘ 38F.(1) A “substance” is a substance mentioned in the NPIM, schedule A, table 1 or 2, column 1. ‘ (2) However, for a reporting period, a substance mentioned in the NPIM, schedule A, table 1 or 2, column 1, is a “substance” only if it is a substance under the NPIM for the reporting period.’. ˙ Amendment of s 38H (Occupiers of reporting facilities to give information) 4. Section 38H(6), definitions “table 1 substance” and “table 2 substance” — omit. ˙ Amendment of s 38S (Noncompliance with reporting requirement) 5. Section 38S(2)(b), ‘for the period 1 July 2000 to 30 June 2001’— omit, insert— ‘for the first financial year in which an occupier must give the chief executive information about the substances under section 38H(3)’.
