Her Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979.

Explanatory note

The object of this Regulation is to extend to 31 March 2012 a transitional provision relating including clause 1 (1) of Schedule 6.

to certain existing mining leases.

Environmental Planning and Assessment Amendment

(Transitional) Regulation 2011

under the

Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979

1      Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Environmental Planning and Assessment
Amendment (Transitional) Regulation 2011.

2      Commencement

This Regulation commences on the day on which it is published on the
NSW legislation website.

3 Amendment of Environmental Planning and Assessment Regulation 2000

Clause 8K Transitional provision—existing mining leases

Omit “31 December 2011” from the definition of relevant transition period in clause 8K (3).

Insert instead “31 March 2012”.
