Explanatory note

The object of this Order is to amend the declaration of Sydney Metro City and Southwest as critical State significant infrastructure to include the suburbs of Earlwood and Yagoona as land on which development may be carried out.

This Order is made under sections 5.12 (4) and 5.13 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act
1979.

1      Name of Order

This Order is the Environmental Planning and Assessment Amendment (Sydney
Metro City and Southwest Project) Order 2018.

2      Commencement

This Order commences on the day on which it is published on the NSW legislation website.

3 Amendment of State Environmental Planning Policy (State and Regional Development) 2011

(1) Schedule 5 Critical State significant infrastructure

Insert “Earlwood,” after “Hurlstone Park,” in clause 5 (2).
