I, the Minister for Planning, in pursuance of section 94EG of the Environmental

Planning and Assessment Act 1979, make the following Order.

Explanatory note
The object of this Order is to amend Schedule 5A of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 to provide that the growth centre for which the Hunter Development Corporation is responsible is not a special contributions area.
This Order is made under section 94EG of the Environmental Planning and Assessment

Act 1979.

1      Name of Order

This Order is the Environmental Planning and Assessment Amendment
(Hunter Special Contributions Area) Order 2009.

2      Commencement

This Order commences on the day on which it is published on the NSW legislation website.

Schedule 5A Special contributions areas

Insert “(other than the growth centre in respect of which the Hunter Development Corporation is constituted)” after “growth centre” in item 1 of Schedule 5A.
