Regulation under the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to exempt until 1 July 2016 the NSW planning database from a requirement
to maintain historical versions of documents or other material published on the NSW planning portal.
This Regulation is made under the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979, including section 157
(the general regulation-making power) and clause 1 of Schedule 6.

1      Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Environmental Planning and Assessment Amendment
(Historical Documents) Regulation 2016.

2      Commencement

This Regulation commences on the day on which it is published on the NSW legislation website.

3 Amendment of Environmental Planning and Assessment Regulation 2000

Schedule 7 Savings and transitional provisions

Omit “1 March 2016” from clause 35 (1). Insert instead “1 July 2016”.
