ENVIRONMENTAL PLANNING AND ASSESSMENT ACT

1979—REGULATION

(Relating to helicopter ground facilities)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council,
and in pursuance of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act

1979, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

Commencement

1. This Regulation commences on 3 April, 1992.

Amendment

2. The Environmental Planning and Assessment Regulation 1980 is

amended by omitting paragraph (c) from Schedule 3 and by inserting

instead the following paragraph:

(c)

buildings, works or land associated with the landing, take-off, parking or servicing of helicopters, but not including buildings, works or land at civil aerodromes or used exclusively for emergency aeromedical evacuation, retrieval and rescue.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Regulation is to amend the Environmental Planning and

Assessment Regulation 1980 to remove from the list of designated developments helicopter ground facilities which are exclusively for aeromedical services.
