I, Rear Admiral PETER ROSS SINCLAIR, A.C., Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Environmental Offences and Penalties (Amendment) Act 1990, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 4 July 1994 as the day on which the uncommenced provisions of that Act commence.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the uncommenced provisions of the Environmental Offences and Penalties (Amendment) Act 1990. The provisions commenced are amendments to the Criminal Appeal Act 1912, the Justices Act 1902 and the Land and Environment Court Act 1979 concerning appeals in relation to environmental offences.
