ENVIRONMENTAL OFFENCES AND PENALTIES

(AMENDMENT) ACT 1990—PROCLAMATION

I. Rear Admiral PETER ROSS SINCLAIR, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council. and in pursuance of section 2 of the Environmental Offences and Penalties (Amendment) Act 1990, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 January 1991 as the day on which that Act, except for:

(a) Schedule 1 (12); and

(b)	item (12) of the provisions of Schedule 2 relating to the Clean Air Act 1961; and
(c)	such part of item (12) of the provisions of Schedule 2 relating to the Clean Waters Act 1970 as repeals section 32A of that Act: and
(d)	the provisions of Schedule 2 relating to the Criminal Appeal Act 1912; and
(e)	items (4), (5), (6) and (7) of the provisions of Schedule 2 relating to the Justices Act 1902; and
(f)	the provisions of Schedule 2 relating to the Land and Environment Court Act 1979,

commences.
