Environmental Management and Pollution Control Order 2010

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following order under section 11 of the Environmental Management and Pollution Control Act 1994 .11 February 2010

1Short titleThis order may be cited as the Environmental Management and Pollution Control Order 2010 . 2CommencementThis order takes effect on 12 April 2010. 3Principal ActIn this order, the Environmental Management and Pollution Control Act 1994 is referred to as the Principal Act. 4Schedule 2 amended (Level 2 Activities) Clause 3 of Schedule 2 to the Principal Act is amended by omitting paragraph (c) and substituting the following paragraph: (c) Waste Transport Business: the transport, whether or not for fee or reward, of any controlled waste to Tasmania from another State or a Territory or from Tasmania to another State or a Territory.
