Environmental Management and Pollution Control (Environmental Infringement Notices) Amendment Regulations 2011
I, the Lieutenant-Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Environmental Management and Pollution Control Act 1994 .8 August 2011

1Short titleThese regulations may be cited as the Environmental Management and Pollution Control (Environmental Infringement Notices) Amendment Regulations 2011 . 2CommencementThese regulations take effect on the day on which their making is notified in the Gazette. 3Principal RegulationsIn these regulations, the Environmental Management and Pollution Control (Environmental Infringement Notices) Regulations 2006 are referred to as the Principal Regulations. 4Regulation 6 rescinded Regulation 6 of the Principal Regulations is rescinded. 5Schedule 2 amended (Prescribed offences) Schedule 2 to the Principal Regulations is amended by inserting after 6Schedule 3 rescinded Schedule 3 to the Principal Regulations is rescinded. Displayed and numbered in accordance with the Rules Publication Act 1953.

These regulations are administered in the Department of Primary Industries, Parks, Water and Environment.
EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the regulation) These regulations amend the
(a) prescribing an offence under the Environmental Management and Pollution Control (Distributed Atmospheric Emissions) Regulations 2007 for which an infringement notice may be issued and the penalty payable for that infringement notice offence; and (b) making minor statute law revision.
