This regulation may be cited as the Environmental Legislation Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2000 . ˙ Commencement 2. This regulation commences on 1 July 2000. PART 2—AMENDMENT OF NATURE CONSERVATION REGULATION 1994 ˙ Regulation amended in pt 2 3. This part amends the Nature Conservation Regulation 1994 . ˙ Amendment of s 138 (Conservation value for protected wildlife) 4. Section 138(1)— omit, insert— ‘ 138.(1) The conservation value for a protected wildlife is— (a) for presumed extinct wildlife—$11 000; or (b) for endangered wildlife—$8 800; or (c) for vulnerable wildlife—$6 600; or (d) for rare wildlife—$4 400; or (e) for common wildlife—$1 100.’.
