Part 1—Preliminary

1—Short title

These regulations may be cited as the Environment Protection (Beverage Container) (Fees) Variation Regulations 2009.

2—Commencement

These regulations will come into operation on 1 July 2009.

3—Variation provisions

In these regulations, a provision under a heading referring to the variation of specified regulations varies the regulations so specified.

Part 2—Variation of Environment Protection (Beverage Container) Regulations 2008

4—Substitution of Schedule 1

Schedule 1—delete the Schedule and substitute:

Schedule 1—Fees

Fees for the purposes of Part 8 Division 2 of the Act are payable as follows:

(a)	application for approval of a class of containers as category A or category B containers (section 68 of Act)	no fee
(b)	application for approval to operate a collection depot (section 69 of Act)	$78.00
(c)	application for approval to carry on business as a super collector (section 69 of Act)	$573.00

Note—

As required by section 10AA(2) of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1978, the Minister has certified that, in the Minister's opinion, it is necessary or appropriate that these regulations come into operation as set out in these regulations.
