An Ordinance to amend the Environment Protection and Management Ordinance 1987

1. Short Title

1.1 This Ordinance may be cited as the Environment Protection and Management (Amendment) Ordinance 1991.¹

2. Amendment

2.1 The Environment Protection and Management Ordinance 1987 is amended as set out in this Ordinance.²

3. Section 19A (Delegation of powers) 3.1 Section 19A:

Omit the section, substitute:

Delegation of powers

“19A. The Minister may, by instrument signed by him or her, delegate any or all of the Minister's powers under section 15 (except the power to approve a form of application for a permit), subsection 17 (1) and section 19, to a person for the time being holding, occupying or performing the duties of the office of the Director of the Antarctic Division of the Department.”.
