Instrument Repealing Superseded Recovery Plans

I, PETER ROBERT GARRETT, Minister for the Environment, Heritage and the Arts:

Having adopted new recovery plans for the listed species specified below under subsection 269A(7) of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999:

-Maccullochella macquariensis (Trout Cod)

-Diuris fragrantissima (Sunshine Diuris)

-Casuarius casuarius johnsonii (Southern Cassowary); and

-Petaurus gracilis (Mahogany Glider).

Hereby revoke, pursuant to subsection 33(3) of the Acts Interpretation Act 1901, the following superseded Recovery Plans:

-Trout Cod Recovery Plan DNRE (1998), adopted 9 March 2001;

-Sunshine Diuris Recovery Plan DNRE (1998), adopted 9 March 2001;

-Southern Cassowary Recovery Plan QPWS (2001), adopted 5 October 2001; and

-Mahogany Glider Recovery Plan QPWS (2000), adopted 9 March 2001.

The repeal of the recovery plans will take effect on the date of signing of this instrument.
