Instrument repealing and adopting Recovery Plans

I, MALCOLM BLIGH TURNBULL, Minister for the Environment and Water Resources:

1. Pursuant to subsection 33(3) of the Acts Interpretation Act 1901, hereby repeal the Recovery Plan for

-Orange-bellied Parrot (Neophema chrysogaster) 1998-2002;

Which is currently adopted under subsection 269A(7) of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999; and

2. Under subsection 269A(7) of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999, hereby adopt as the recovery plan for the listed threatened species specified below, made by the Tasmanian agency specified opposite the listed threatened species:

Listed Threatened Species or Ecological Community Recovery Plan
Neophema chrysogaster Orange-bellied Parrot Recovery Team (2006). National Recovery Plan for the Orange-bellied Parrot (Neophema chrysogaster) Department of Primary Industries and Water (DPIW), Hobart.

The repeal of the Recovery Plan for:

-Orange-bellied Parrot (Neophema chrysogaster) 1998-2002;

will take effect on the date of signing of this instrument.

The adopted recovery plan will come into force on the date of signing of this instrument.
