Adoption of State Plans as Recovery Plans

I, IAN GORDON CAMPBELL, Minister for the Environment and Heritage, under section 269A of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999, hereby adopt as recovery plans for the listed threatened species specified below, the respective plans made by the Australian Capital Territory, New South Wales, the Northern Territory and Western Australia (or agencies of that State/Territory) specified opposite those listed threatened species:

Pursuant to Sub section 269A (7) of the EPBC Act, the above eight plans are adopted with the following additional text included as an addendum:

Critical Habitat

The plan identifies critical habitat as including areas located a set distance around known populations which contain habitat similar to that in which the species occurs, as well as areas that do not currently contain the species but may have done so in the past.  These areas identified in the plan do not represent areas of critical habitat as defined under section 207A of the EPBC Act.

The recovery plans will come into force on the date of signing of this instrument.
