1. Name of regulation

   This regulation is the Environment Protection Amendment Regulation 2019 (No 1).

2. Commencement

   This regulation commences on the day after its notification day.

   NoteThe naming and commencement provisions automatically commence on the notification day (see Legislation Act, s 75 (1)).

3. Legislation amended

   This regulation amends the Environment Protection Regulation 2005.

4. Section 24 (1)

   (1)In this regulation:

   noise standard, for a noise zone, means the noise standard mentioned in the following provisions for the relevant zone and time:

   (a)for a zone other than zones B1 and C1—schedule 2, table 2.2, column 3 or column 4;

   (b)for zone B1—schedule 2, table 2.2A, column 3 or column 4;

   (c)for zone C1—schedule 2, table 2.2B, column 3 or column 4.
