ENQUIRY (NO. 2)

An Ordinance to amend the Enquiry Ordinance 1938-1967,

as amended by the Enquiry Ordinance 1970.

1.—(1.) This Ordinance may be cited as the Enquiry Ordinance

(No. 2) 1970.*

(2.) Section 1 of the Enquiry Ordinance 1970f is amended by omitting sub-section (2 . ) .

(3.) The Enquiry Ordinance 1938-19674 as amended by the Enquiry Ordinance 1970 and by this Ordinance, may be cited as the Enquiry Ordinance 1938-1970.

2 . Section 15 of the Enquiry Ordinance 1938-1967, as amended by the Enquiry Ordinance 1970, is amended by omitting sub-section (1.) and inserting in its stead the following sub-section:—

" (1.) A person who attends for the purpose of giving evidence before a Board or an appointed person is entitled to receive such fees and travelling expenses in accordance with the scale in the Second Schedule to the Public Works Committee Regulations as in force from time to time under the Public Works Committee Act 1969 as the Chairman of the Board or the appointed person determines.".
