Energy Coordination (Gas Tariffs) Amendment
Regulations 2009
Made by the Governor in Executive Council.
1. Citation
These regulations are the Energy Coordination (Gas Tariffs)
Amendment Regulations 2009.
2. Commencement
These regulations come into operation as follows —
(a) regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette; (b) the rest of the regulations — on 1 July 2009.
3. Regulations amended
These regulations amend the Energy Coordination (Gas Tariffs)
Regulations 2000.
4. Schedule 1 amended
(1) In Schedule 1 clause 1 delete “component,” (second occurrence)
and insert:components,

(2) In Schedule 1 clause 1 delete the Table and insert: Rates for components of residential tariff
Fixed component 14.54 cents per day Usage components
• first usage component 10.04 cents per unit for the first
L units• second usage component 9.06 cents per unit for the next
M units• third usage component 9.06 cents per unit for each
additional unit
Where —
(a) for a single dwelling
supplied through a separately
metered supply point —
L = 12 ° N
M = 24 ° N
N = the number of days inthe period for which the
charge is calculated
(b) supplied through a
commonly metered supply
point —for multiple dwellings M = [24 ° N] + [(F-1) ° 5] N = the number of days in
the period for which the
charge is calculated
F = the number of dwellings

(5) In Schedule 1 clause 3 delete the Table and insert: Rates for components of residential tariff
Fixed component
(a)
for premises other than those described in paragraph (b) — 15.28 cents per day;
(b)
for multiple dwellings supplied through a commonly metered supply point —

15.28 cents per day for the first dwelling;
•
7.62 cents per day for each additional dwelling.
Usage component 11.11 cents per unit.
(6) In Schedule 1 clause 4 delete the Table and insert: Rates for components of non-residential tariff

(7) In Schedule 1 clause 5 delete the Table and insert: Rates for components of residential tariff

(8) In Schedule 1 clause 6 delete the Table and insert: Rates for components of non-residential tariff

(9) In Schedule 1 clause 8(1) —
(a) delete “or the usage component” and insert: and the usage component or components
(b) delete “2009/10” and insert: 2010/11
Note: The heading to amended Schedule 1 clause 8 is to read: General adjustment for 2010/11 financial year and subsequent
financial years
(10) In Schedule 1 clause 9(1) delete “2009/10” and insert: 2010/11
