Energy Coordination (Designation of Inspectors)

Amendment Regulations 2004

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.            Citation

These regulations may be cited as the Energy Coordination (Designation ofInspectors) Amendment Regulations 2004.

2.            The regulations amended

The amendments in these regulations are to the Energy
Coordination (Designation of Inspectors) Regulations 1995*.

3.             Regulation 3 amended

Regulation 3 is amended by deleting the definition of "issuing authority" and inserting the following definition instead -

"issuing authority", in relation to an inspector

designated under section 12 of the Act by the

Director, means the Director.

DIRECTOR ";

4.            Regulation 6 amended

Regulation 6 is amended by deleting all of the regulation from and including "satisfied that" and inserting instead -

satisfied that the person has such qualifications and
experience as will enable that person to carry out in a
proper and efficient manner the duties of an inspector
of the classification specified in the instrument of
designation of that person.

5.            Schedule 1 amended

Schedule 1 is amended as follows:

(a) by deleting "DIRECTOR" and inserting instead-

(b) by deleting "COORDINATOR OF ENERGY".
