ENERGY ADMINISTRATION ACT 1987 - REGULATION
(Relating to the State Energy and Research

Development Fund)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Energy Administration Act 1987, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

The Energy Administration (General) Regulation 1987 is amended

by inserting after clause 4 the following clause:

Application of State Energy Research and Development Fund

5. For the purposes of section 35A (3) (b) of the Act, education and research in connection with the supply and use of energy resources for the State, and related technological development are prescribed purposes.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Regulation is to prescribed education and research in connection with the supply and use of energy resources for the State, and related technological development, as purposes to which the Minister for Minerals and Energuy may direct
that funds in the State Energy Research and Development Fund are to be applied.
