I, the Lieutenant-Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the End-of-Life Choices (Voluntary Assisted Dying) Act 2021 .26 September 2022

1Short titleThese regulations may be cited as the End-of-Life Choices (Voluntary Assisted Dying) Regulations 2022. 2CommencementThese regulations take effect on the day on which the End-of-Life Choices (Voluntary Assisted Dying) Act 2021 commences. 3InterpretationIn these regulations – the Act means the End-of-Life Choices (Voluntary Assisted Dying) Act 2021. 4Prescribed body for accreditation of translatorsFor the purposes of section 15(4)(c)(ii) of the Act, the National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters Limited (ABN 42 008 596 996) is prescribed.
