REGULATIONS FOR THE EMPLOYMENT OF PERSONS IN A CIVIL CAPACITY IN CONNEXION WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF DEFENCE.

Amendment.

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation under the Defence Act 1903-1918, to come into operation as from 1st January, 1922.

Regulations for the Employment of Persons in a Civil Capacity in Connexion with the Department of Defence.

Amendment.

Cancel regulation 47 (3) and insert the following new regulation in lieu thereof:—

47. (3) In addition to the public holidays prescribed in sub-regulation. (1) of this regulation, the following, public holidays or any holidays prescribed under the law of any State to be observed in lieu thereof in that State may be observed in the localities under which they are respectively shown:—
