Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.            Citation

These regulations are the Employment Agents Amendment

2440 GOVERNMENT GAZETTE, WA 23 June 2009

2.            Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows -

(a) regulations 1 and 2 - on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette;

(b) the rest of the regulations - on 1 July 2009.

3.            Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Employment Agents Regulations 1976.

4.            Regulation 10 amended

(1) In regulation 10(1) delete the 'Fable and insert:

(2) After regulation 10(1a) insert:

(1B) The penalty prescribed under section 13(2) of the Act for any late application for the renewal of a licence is 25% of the fee due for the granting of that renewal.
