Employment Agents Amendment

Regulations 2008

Made by the Lieutenant-Governor and deputy of the Governor in
Executive Council.

1.            Citation

These regulations are the Employment Agents Amendment
Regulations 2008.

74             Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows:

(a)	regulations 1 and 2—on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette;
(b)	the rest of the regulations - on 1 July 2008.

3.           The regulations amended

The amendments in these regulations are to the Einploi'inent
Agents Regulations 1976.

4.           Regulation 10 amended

Regulation 10(1) is amended by deleting the Table and inserting instead -

The penalty prescribed under section 13(2) of the Act for any late application for the renewal of a licence is 25% of the fee due for the granting of that renewal.
