His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Employment Agents Act 1996.

The object of this Regulation is to increase the application fee and annual fee sections 7 , 11 and 31 (the general regulation-making power).

Regulation 1998

1 Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Employment Agents Amendment (Licence

Fees) Regulation 1998.

2 Commencement

This Regulation commences on 1 July 1998.

3 Amendment of Employment Agents Regulation 1996

The Employment Agents Regulation 1996 is amended as set out in Schedule 1.

The explanatory note does not form part of this Regulation.

1. Clause 5 Application for licence as private employment agent

   Omit "$40" . Insert instead "$ 100".

2. Clause 6 Annual licence fee

Omit “ $ 4 0 ” . Insert instead "$100. 100" .
