Emergency Response Fund Investment Mandate Direction 2020   2

1  Name

This instrument is the Emergency Response Fund Investment Mandate Amendment (Disaster Ready Fund) Direction 2023.

2  Commencement

This instrument commences at the same time as Schedule 1 to the Emergency Response Fund Amendment (Disaster Ready Fund) Act 2022 commences.

3  Authority

This instrument is made under subsection 4(1) of the Emergency Response Fund Amendment (Disaster Ready Fund) Act 2022.

4  Schedule

Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.

Schedule 1—Amendments

Emergency Response Fund Investment Mandate Direction 2020

1  Section 1

Omit “Emergency Response Fund” and substitute “Disaster Ready Fund”.

2  Section 3

Omit “made under the Emergency Response Fund Act 2019” and substitute “in force under the Disaster Ready Fund Act 2019”.

3  Section 4 (definition of Act)

Omit “Emergency Response Fund Act 2019” and substitute “Disaster Ready Fund Act 2019”.

4  Section 4 (definition of Fund)

Omit “Emergency Response Fund” and substitute “Disaster Ready Fund”.
