Emergency Management Regulations 2020

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Emergency Management Act 2006 .14 May 2020

1Short titleThese regulations may be cited as the Emergency Management Regulations 2020. 2CommencementThese regulations take effect on the day after the day on which their making is notified in the Gazette. 3InterpretationIn these regulations – Act means the Emergency Management Act 2006. 4Infringement notice offencesFor the purposes of section 60C of the Act – (a) [Regulation 4 Amended by S.R. 2021, No. 64, Applied:13 Aug 2021] an offence against section 60(c) or (d) of the Act is prescribed as an infringement offence; and (b) the penalty payable under an infringement notice for that offence is – (i) [Regulation 4 Amended by S.R. 2021, No. 64, Applied:13 Aug 2021] in the case of an individual, 9 penalty units; and (ii) in the case of a body corporate, 29.75 penalty units.
